 "How splendid that we gathered here altogether"… with such wonderful words of Yuri Wizbor’s song begun the Communal Festival of Jewish Book-2005 in Taraz.
 Vast and various materials, prepared by collective of Taraz Community Centre together with workers of Auezov’s library and Taraz gallery, made this festival interesting.
Exhibition of children’s creation, book exhibition and presentation of new books were represented for guest’s attention. Townsman used with pleasure the opportunity to look into undercover nooks of the world of poetry, literature, and art; to hear the wonderful report about Moris Simashko’s, Anatoly Rybakovs’s, Josef Brodsky’s, Leonid Utesov’s, Isaac Levita .
And at the end, Piano play teacher, Ludmila Kirshner and leader of OFEK, Ida Bukina, invited guests and participants of the festival to musical soiree "Music of Imre Kalman". Story about life and creation of Kalmanwas accompanied with performance of fragments Kalman’s best items.
