In the regional scientific universal library named after Moldagaliev with support of Jewish library presentation of brochure "Jewish World" took place. Those are methodical recommendations, devoted to issue of introduction Kazakhstani with traditions and customs of Jews. The brochure is published by regional library. The assistance was rendered by Uralsk branch of Jewish Republican Library.

  The brochure "Jewish World" will be displayed in reading room of regional library and will be available for wide round of readers. Jewish Community Centre, Hesed "Golda", and Jewish library got some copies. There is given historical information about Jews, and told about peculiarities of Jewish calendar, given receipts of Jewish dishes.

   At the same time with brochure presentation the opening of the exhibition “News of Jewish literature” took place in regional library named after Moldagaliev, there sounded Jewish music and extracts from films of Jewish cinematographers were displayed.


  In thanks for cooperation regional library presented Uralsk branch of Republican Jewish library 5 books.
