In Almaty in the frameworks of OSCE meeting took place on the subject "Intercultural interconfessional, interethnic dialogue in the interest of prevention the conflict and post conflict reconciliation".
In work of session took part the Supreme commissioner of OSCE on national minority Rolph Ekeus, representative OSCE on mass media Miklosh Harashti, director on the international businesses of the Jews of the American Jewish committee Rabbi Andrew Baker, senior adviser for political questions of bureau on the civil rights and freedom Shaarik Zafar, chief of the centre OSCE in Bishkek Markus Muller and many others.
According to the ambassador-at-large of Russia Veniamin Popov, the events of last years and even of last days emphasize a urgency of the given meeting, and in this connection initiative of the Kazakhstan party is awarded with the highest estimation. "The Reason, collected here all of us is an understanding that one of the most important dangers in the today's world is a division of it on religious and civilization signs. Still recently world was divided by an ideological principle, the mankind could cope with it. But now there was a new threat not less dangerous", - considers V. Popov.
The theme of the first session is chosen not casually. In opinion of the participants of meeting, the dialogue is one of major means in any efforts directed on prevention of the conflicts and post conflict reconciliation. It is a way disengagement of the arisen intensity, which can result the conflict, discussion of disagreements and divergences, elimination misconception and deformed representations, definition of opportunities for the compromises and coordination of the decisions. Without intercultural, interconfessional and interethnic dialogue the intensity can reach a point, when there is an atmosphere, in which the violence can seem by a unique way of the solution of a problem.
