In a state museum of arts named after Kasteev passes an exhibition of works of legendary Sergey Kalmykov. The artist, which was sure, that his red beret is visible from other planets.

Old-timers well remember how the strange man in beret with pompon strolled about the streets of Almaty. Went, abstracted. He served as the artist at Theatre of an opera and ballet named after Abay. And the people were surprised, looked at him as on a miracle

In or day or two exhibition of the remarkable artist was visited by the members of family club "Shalom". Art historian Valentina Buchinskaya, many years engaged by creation of Kalmykov, has slightly opened for club a veil and above the biography of Sergey Kalmykov, and above his art.

Many years ago our remarkable Kazakhstan composer - Eugeny Brusilovsky - having visited Orenburg, has got acquainted with Kalmykov and invited him in opera theatre of Almaty. So the man has appeared in Almaty which created rushing in distance curtains scenery to performances and, certainly, magnificent portraits, still life in which is obviously overlooked sight in the future. A space plate, girl in the dress appropriate faster to day present, than yesterdays, actress with strict pathetic eyes...

- Plainly to get and to hang out works is not about Kalmykov, - assures Buchinskaya. - Kalmykov is too strong person, it practically very heavy energy for the usual people. That is why exhibition of his works is each time event. So catch the moment.

The pleasure from meeting with Kalmykov's creation, from a touch to talent about which now knows all the world, the members of Family club have received unusual. The works of Sergey Kalmykov, having gone through the author, now are exhibited in Israel, France, USA, and England.
