In a day or two literary soirees gathered all admirers of the book on the meeting named by organizers "Forgotten names" in Community Centre "Rimon". Evening was conducted by volunteer of Republican Jewish library Lubov Koretzkaya.
Lubov Koretzkaya presented the participants of evening the book of Jack (Jacob Moisevitch) Altausen - poet using large popularity in 20- 40th years of the last century; the man of very bright, full of adventures biography; reciter, and surprisingly figurative and pathetically reading his verses.
The basic subjects of his lyrics - heroic and tragical events of Civil war, though about himself he ironically noticed: "in any fights I was not, and anybody me did not wait". And main in these events are - frequently broken by war of destiny of the people.
Since the first days of Great domestic war Altausen was in working army. His verses of this period are penetrated with deep feeling of love to a native Land, people protecting it.
In April, 1942 Jack Altausen, having refused to leave the part which has got in an environment, was lost under track of the fascist tank.
The contemporary of Eduard Bagritzkiy, Alexandr Bezymensky, Alexandr Tvardovsky, Josef Utkin, he turned out wrongly forgotten even on a native land - in Irkutsk, where till now his nephew Boris Altausen, last carrier of this name still lives.
