 II International Festival of New music "Nauryz XXI" finished working in Almaty. Initiator and organiser of festival was Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy. As its chancellor famous pianist Zhaniya Aubakirova noticed , "Nauryz XXI" - is a blending of different cultures and janres, eastern melodic and modern western musical language; Simbios of theatre, artistic, designer and musical art."
Composers Yuval Avital from Israel, Tolib Shahidi from Tajikistan, Artem Kim from Uzbekistan, Tomas Ondrushek from Czechia, Alexandr Tarnopolsky from Russia, Ivan stefannovitch from Yugoslavia, Benjamin Yusupov, Gil Shokhat and others became guestsof festival. Becides participation in concerts they conducted creative meetings master-classes for teachers and students of conservatory, colledge, and pupils of musical schools.
In the framework of the holiday in Big Organ Hall of conservatory passed concerts of simphonic, chamber and also modern experimental music. It sounded in performance of State Academic Simphony Orchestra of Kazakhstan, State academic ensebmle of classic music "Kamerata of Kazakhstan", children’s choir "Koktem" and also famous musical collectives from USA, Israel, India, Uzbekistan and other countries.
