 Un fortunately, today Kazakhstan readers not always can get the books of the serious authors - poets and prose writers - in our shops, and also personally to communicate to the conducting foremen of the modern literature. The project "Almaty Literary readings" has arisen as alternative to progress of the commercial literature in Kazakhstan; its purposes carry the brightly expressed educational character.
Within the framework of the project a series of visits in Almaty of the most known, "cult" writers and poets of the different countries of the world, edition of the collections of their products with account on the Kazakhstan reader, and also creation of a cycle of documentary films on materials of visits is conceived.
The first visitor of Southern capital of Kazakhstan the poet and prose writer Eugenie Rein. During visit of Rein in Almaty there will pass presentation of his collection which left in a series " Almaty Literary readings ", and also book "My best addressee". And also the meeting Eugenie Rein with the Kazakhstan philologists and students of the Kazakh National pedagogical university named after Abay is planned.
