 During the whole last week in a premise of Jewish Community Centre "Rimon" passed amateur chess tournament dated for a forthcoming holiday Passover. Three generations of a community took part in tournament. The younger participant of chess competition was 10 years old, and the eldest already was 80.
According to the organizers of the action - collective of JCC "Rimon" - the competitions put by the purpose popularization of chess art and healthy lifestyle among the members of a community and first of all among children and youth. The tournament was for all comers.
The competitions consisted of two stages. Time of game was 1 hour. Each participant leaded one set. Among young generation of the participants were especially distinguished Stas Pryatko and Kirill Papanov. The guys tried with all their might to be the worthy contenders to more skilled players.
Last day of tournament, judicial board in which structure have come: Ruslan Archakov, Tatiana Rizman and Grigory Nedlin, the names of the winners were announced. They were:
1 place - Michael Riskin
2 places - Efim Nedlin
3 places - Simon Levenberg
The winners of tournament were awarded with the diplomas and memorable gifts.
