 In Almaty passed Opening of the Days of Israeli cuisine. The representatives of foreign embassies in Kazakhstan, clerisy of Almaty, leaders of Jewish organizations of the Republic became the guests of the soiree.
The organizers of a culinary holiday are embassy of the State Israel in Kazakhstan. The initiative of realization of Days of national cuisine was supported by hotel "Hyatt Regency Almaty". Tasting and exhibitions - displays will be lasting for 3 days - from March 14 till March 17.
The opening of Days of the Israeli cuisine coincided with the beginning of one of the most cheerful holidays of the Jewish calendar - Purim. The owner of evening, ambassador of the State Israel in Kazakhstan Michael Lotem, has congratulated the visitors and offered to taste not only product of the known Israeli cooker Nir Zuka, but also wines specially brought for a holiday from Israel.
 As the organizers of evening have informed the similar festivals already became for Almaty kind tradition. The days of the Israeli cuisine are continuation of culinary marathon, which more than year lasts already. For this time Kazakhstani people got acquainted with dishes of Malaysian, Singapore, Armenian, Indian and Serbian cuisine.
According to mister Lotem, such activities not only help to acquaint the people with culinary traditions of other peoples. They help to pull together the representatives of the different peoples.
