In Uigurian district of Almaty region in a settlement, Tash-Karasu, the young Jewish family Krukovs lives: Boris, Natalie, and their children - Sergey, Margarita, and Taisia.

The settlement is far from regional centres. Distance to the nearest hospital is more than 60 kilometres. In a village there is no children's garden, and school - only primary classes. Earlier Tash Karasu was prospering state farm, with strong cattle-breeding and agricultural base. Today from former well-being there were only memoirs. To find even temporary or seasonal work it is very heavy. For young family the duly help from Hesed appeared vital. Krukovs received monthly grocery sets, under the program Children's SOS. These packages helped family to survive in heaviest for them time.

To support children, Boris (the head of family) had to be engaged in a hunt and fishing, but it not always brought simplification and food.

Having considered a situation of Krukovs family, the workers of Hesed have found for them a remarkable output from the usual situation. To bring each month grocery sets and all the same to see half-starved eyes of children, it is far from being a way out. It was necessary to give Krukovs that “a fishing tackle”, with which they can catch to themselves a fish for dinner ". And a bit later with the help of Committee Joint, Association "Mitsva", Hesed "Polina" in family the cow has appeared. With a choice and purchase the cow the workers of Hesed helped Akimat of Uigurian area. Hesed found good young cow with calf, which gave not only milk, but also could breed.

It is difficult to describe by words pleasure of Krukovs family! Children and now do not depart from an animal. In the house has appeared wet-nurse. But the additional responsibility has appeared also. You see that something to receive from an animal is necessary to feed and water it, to reserve of hay, to contain in cleanliness cowshed and much else. But these cares please also senior generation and children of Krukovs family faster.

The time has passed and today, coming to settlement, the workers of Hesed are pleased together with family of the clients. The milk in the house is each day, and not one litre. And due to diligence of the owners there is an oil and cottage cheese, so there is also money, that each day to buy bread each day, not experiencing, that someone will come and will punish the daddy, so also all family.

On a question of Hesed worker, whether the milk has bothered to children, the kids answer:

- That you! We haven't still quenched it, it is such tasty and main is ours!

The first part conceived also is executed. Soon, God grant, and the second part of the plan of the Hesed workers becomes a reality. In some months the bought cow will have calf. And the Krukovs life in the house becomes lighter and more joyfully.
