 Today in Almaty took place bringing of New Scroll of Torah, written in Israel by the order of members of Jewish Community of Kazakhstan, in synagogue.
And as it is accepted to devote the scroll to something or somebody, so the gift according to community is created in honor of Peace and consent in Kazakhstan. The organizer is Jewish Centre of Kazakhstan "Chabad Lubavitch".
Bringing of scrolls of Torah in synagogues of Kazakhstan was not for the first time. But the bringing of scroll created at participation of members of Kazakhstan Jewish Community - is for the first time. Thus this event considers being a holiday for all members of Jewish Community of Kazakhstan. In saint books is written that a town which the scroll of Torah is brought in get the special blessing.
In a ceremony of bringing of Torah scroll participated Head Rabbi of Kazakhstan Ieshaya Koghen and also head Rabbis of regions of the Republic, all the
Jewish Communities of the city.
The holiday finished with musical program.
