Especially for volunteers - the voluntary assistants of a community - Hesed "Polina" conducted the large celebratory evening devoted to Hanukkah. To a celebration were invited 50 best volunteers of Hesed.
In a hall the Jewish music played, and the people at once got in a pleasant atmos-phere of heat and cosiness. On the beautifully served tables there were attributes of a holiday: Hanukkia, doughnuts and latkes.
Our volunteer Lubov Koretzkaya opened a holiday. She told about a history of origin and traditions Hanukkah. Then acted the director of Hesed Natalie Dorman and has congratulated all present with a holiday.
Then volunteers played sketch of a holiday. Volunteer Felix Perlov has lit common Ha-nukkia. On all tables Hanukkah candles were lit.
The participants of ensemble "Nekhama" have performed songs about Hanukkah, about latkes. All present together with ensemble amicably sang a March of volunteers, Waltz of volun-teers, the Hymn of volunteers etc. It turned out perfect chorus.
After that, in solemn conditions, accepted new volunteers in our numbers, them there were 8 men. All handed badges with symbolic of volunteers' movement and written rules - oath.
Then the rewarding of all volunteers with the honourable letters for unselfish and diligent work for the boon of our Jewish community passed. In the answer there were a lot of warm words told by volunteers to address of our Hesed.
Volunteer Victor Raisman, perfectly owns a guitar and well sing. All of us like very much his performance. And this time he much sang, carried out the requests present. The people danced and had fun.
In the conclusion I have congratulated all volunteers on coming New Year. Hotly has thanked for their noble work, kind hearts and skilful hands. I wished them health, longevity, hap-piness, peace and consent. Then, in a mark of gratitude, all handed gifts and Hanukkah gelts.
