 Each year during Passover the Jews again and again experience a history of the clearing from the Egyptian slavery. Matza on Passover reminds to us that being free it is possible to be content with smallest. And the Jewish house on time of a holiday became the centre of life of all family. The community of Astana decided not to depart from this custom and collected all Jews of city in a simply cosy, light hall of cafe "Marzhan".
The Jewish melodies, bright colourful posters devoted to Passover - everything helped to create an atmosphere of a holiday. The director of Jewish Community Centre Marina Zommerfeld congratulated gathered in cafe members of a community on a holiday of freedom, pleasure and hope.
On tradition, was held Passover Seder becoming the culmination of a holiday. It was leaded by dear member of a community - Michael Kreichman. Everybody drunken 4 glasses of
wine and ate a plastic of matza.
The kids from children's club "Shatil" have set 4 traditional questions and have leaded a quiz on the best knowledge of customs of Passover. Have surprised and have touched all verses composed to a holiday by the chief of children's club "Shatil" Marina Zommerfeld.
The special atmosphere of a holiday was created the Jewish melodies - gentle and touching, comic and inflammatory.
The past holiday has left nobody indifferent. All present anew have gone through - departure from Egypt and 40 years of wanderings on deserts.
The letters and memorable gifts from the sponsors were handed to the active participants of children's club "Shatil".
Volunteers were also not remained without attention and - disinterested help, which was marked with testimonial letters and souvenirs.
