 The Jews of Astana celebrate cheerful Purim. This year metropolitan Hesed gathered community in cafe "Altyn-Ay". In cosy, smart hall gathered 60 men - basically clients and volunteers of Hesed.
The evening began with the story about traditions of Purim. Celebratory Purimshpil prepared the guys from children's club "Shatil". As the artistic director of carnival this year has acted the director urban Community Centre Marina Zommerfeld. Then Marina has told to the visitors of a holiday the history which has occurred with empress Ester and king Akhashverosh more of 2000 years ago.
Cheerful couplets, songs, the parodies in performance of young generation of the Jewish community of Astana have not left indifferent anybody.
And how much were worrying mums and grandmothers, participating in literary quiz in level with children! Probably, this excitement, and may be parental love, and have played a main role that the team of the kids won with the account 25-11.
The evening was finished traditionally - tea drinking with sweets and exchange "mishloakh manot ". Wishing everybody cheerful Purim! Hag Sameakh!
