In Brussels the International conference for students of Jewish schools organized by the European committee on development of Jewish education at the European commission was held. The winners of competition of an essay and mini-compositions on political and moral themes took part in work of a conference, and also teachers, under the direction of which the given works were executed. From schools of network "Or-Avner" two compositions were selected: of Marianna Zhadan from Odessa and Valeria Skripnik from Karaganda.

The program of stay in Brussels was sated: visiting and supervision over work of Euro parliament, meeting with the deputy of Euro parliament Mr. Bisli, visiting of the European Social and Economic Board. For Valeria Skripnik and her scientific adviser, teacher of history Vladimir Rybkin visit to Embassy of Republic of Kazakhstan in Belgium also was organized.

The work of the conference also was very productive. The participants discussed a number most important, on a sight of the organizers, moral and political problems. As a basis for one of discussions served one of Valeria Skripnik’s compositions: "Word freedom for and against".

Besides work of a conference, on Kazakhstani guests the indelible impression was made magnificent nature, ancient architecture of Brussels, and, certainly, Shabbat, led in synagogue European Union Jewish Building.
