 To the 100th anniversary of Agnia Barto was devoted the literary soiree passed in Kostanay Hesed in a day or two.
The children's vocal collective of Hesed executed some songs on verses of Agnia Barto. Then the senior generation read the book "To find the man". The adults and children with pleasure listened to verses of poetess.
It seems, absolutely simple lines of poems of Agnia Barto - "Goes bull calf, shakes, sighs on the move...", or "Have dropped Bear on a floor, have torn off bear's clutch". But a lot of years they are favourite for children!
During many years Agnia Barto headed Association of the figures of the literature and art for children, and also was the member of international Andersen's jury. In 1976 the International premium of Hans Christian Andersen was awarded to her.
Barto's verses are
translated more than to 7 languages of the world.
