 This holiday is not marked in a calendar by the red color. And anyway every year on the first of June we celebrate International Day of Defense of Children. The first day of June became a symbol of fight for children’s right and first of all it is a reminder to adults about the necessity to keep children’s rights for life for opinion freedom, for education, for the rest. Children are the future of the country and the world, our future. And it is necessary to protect them of many things. From us - fussy, indifferent… From them - severe confused, difficult. To protect from violence and rage, from idleness and drugs, unbelief and dislike. And consequently we should bring up such children, which will understand ourselves, will protect, and will help.
They should be better than we. And it is very good, that in Hesed, at support of "Joint" Committee and "Mitsva" Association the welfare program "Etgar" works which renders the social, medical and psychological help to children and teenagers of the Jewish families. And now in Hesed each Jewish child can get the duly qualified help. Also the guys can visit various circles in Community Centre.
The summer has come, and the guys visit each day the Children's day centre at Hesed. Now they prepare for a festival in Karaganda. Also they participate and in city actions. The choreographic collective has taken part in a concert devoted to Day of protection of children, organized by Public fund "Decenta" for children - invalids.
