CELEBRATING WITH ONE LARGE FRIENDLY FAMILY

The Jewish tradition gives to month Nisan the large meaning. You see this month we celebrate the main event of all our history - Exodus from Egypt.

The holiday Passover is established in memory of major event in a history of the Jewish people - exodus from Egypt and clearing of slavery. This event underlie of national character of our people - free people concluded at the good will union with G-d and which has taken up the obligation to execute the laws, given them, (Torah).

Passover takes the central place in collective consciousness of the Jewish people not only because of the special historical event, in memory about of which it was established. Connecting in itself all aspects of the Jewish tradition, Passover is also most family of all Jewish holidays. Main commandment, executed by us in Passover, - leading of "Seder", during which we eat Matza, - is connected to warm home conditions. And consequently this year in Jewish Community centre of Pavlodar it was leaded on clubs.

Before realization of celebratory actions the thorough preparation to Passover was held. The coordinator of the program "Jewish tradition" Vladimir Khandin told about traditions and customs of a holiday, about preparation of utensils, kitchen and products allowed for holiday. In lecture hall "Jewish history and traditions" volunteer Hana Lobchenko has told about a history of Passover. Many members of our community signed interdiction on hametz, not to use kvass during Passover. In traditions of a holiday in Hesed the general cleaning was held, kitchen and all premises were cleared from hametz. At the Children's day centre in creation workshop were made Passover Kiara of clay, and also congratulatory cards. In clubs: the family, youth, female, children's day centre Passover Seders were held. For the clients of the program "Home care" those who could not reach in synagogue, was held Seder in Hesed. Many from present have recollected, how was held Seder in childhood, how baked Matza, how in the evening on the eve of a holiday searched hametz. The care about near is inherent in Jews and espesially it is shown in Passover. Hagada begins by a fragment: "A lakhma ", that actually is the invitation to join to Seder. On April 12 and 13 was leaded Community Seder in synagogue. These two evenings on everyone, who has come, four duties were assigned: "To eat Matza, to read Hagada, to drink 4 glasses of wine and to eat maror". Passover is a time of questions, and on Seder 4 questions have sounded which were asked by daughter of Rabbi Shmuel Karnaukh, Rivka.

The most important in that the community was gathering at the one table, that a community - is single whole that together we are a force. That our common pray will be heard by G-d, and he will go towards our requests and entreaties.
