 The Jewish community of the North-Kazakhstan area celebrated Hanukkah. In the festively decorated hall was cosy and warm, and light burning on each table of Hanukkah fixtures gave pleasure for gathered.
This evening the community congratulated the chairman of Petropavlovsk Jewish cultural centre, by the chiefs of Community Centre Hesed "Efraim", members of Hesed Board.
The fascinating concert program, continued a holiday, became a gift to Hanukkah from children of a community to the senior generation. The visitors with interest watched development of events; you see the dramatized statement which told about a holiday of Light was shown. Here were present and terrible king Antiokh and warriors-emancipators and Greeks, and Ieghuda Maccovey. The costumes of Community centre were useful, and necessary scenery and stage props were made by the participants of Youth club.
With the song which told about dreidl, and verses about Hanukkah the smallest actors - studio "Barvazon" have acted. They were replaced by elder generation the youthful group "Hatihot" with a cycle of Hanukkah songs "Pitcher", " Oh Hanukkah", "Holiday", "Savivon". The senior generation - mum, daddy, grandmothers and grandfathers - the group "Shalom", nor has remained sitting on place. In their performance the auditory has heard songs " Hanukkah candle" and "Hanukkah".
In the second part of the program the soloists sang, and then visitors of holiday were invited slightly to dance. As well as should be the holiday has turned out warm and interesting.
And good mood, we hope, will not leave the Jews of Petropavlovsk and after a holiday!
