Semipalatinsk 15.05.2006
 One of the most favourite Jewish holidays, Lag-ba-Omer, the members of the Jewish community of Semipalatinsk and clients of city Hesed celebrated in relic tape forest, on a coast of Irtysh.
This May day it was rather warm already air was full of resinous smell of needles. The participants of traditional picnic annually organized on 18 Iyar, enjoyed different mobile games: football, volleyball, and badminton. In the evening the competitions in marksmanship have been held, the winners received prizes. The fresh air gave them a twist, which satisfied with tasty sandwiches and cold drinks.
The members of the Jewish community went home tired, but pleased with the fact that they joined ancient traditions of the people.
