 Maya Raldygina is being a client of Hesed "Shimon" for some years already. Today programs "Home care" and "Rehabilitation equipment" services help her. The woman can not imagine how her family and she could return to the normal life without their help. Hesed and American Jewish Distribution Committee "Joint" were the first who extended the helping hand to her.
In 2000 Maya has got in automobile accident. The backbone was seriously injured. In her 35 years old, she already has experienced 3 heavy operations on a backbone and long time was in rehabilitation centre.
Now Maya is invalid of 1 group. She moves along the apartment only with the help of walkers. She leaves house extremely seldom. She can not sit - or stands or lies.
Maya lives with the old parents and son - schoolboy. So the help of Hesed is vital as for her, as for her relatives. Two times a week comes to them the worker of service "Home care" and helps family on household.
I am grateful to all those people, which sincerely have taken such active participation in our destiny. I hope, and we will have a chance to help the native community with something says Maya.
