 Many years ago, when we have just come in Hesed, my grandfather unexpectedly became ill. The illness was heavy. All family very much worried for him trying to make everything that the grandfather again gets on to his feet. A unique light stain in our life became Hesed, life of a community.
And Hanukkah has come. Our first Hanukkah in Hesed. We with the mum came on a holiday with heavy heart, and suddenly have heard, that speak about our grandfather. That he is dear man in city, candidate of sciences, that he has a lot of the inventions and … simply he is very good.
To our surprise the people have collected money. Happy we have returned to the grandmother, transferred her money, on which she bought necessary medicines. Our grandfather got on to feet. Now he is again healthy! So saving light of Hanukkah has illuminated our life. For our family it was the real miracle. Then I have understood all power of Hesed, and why it carries such perfect name "Care"!
 And this year the same situation … has repeated And Hesed again has not left us in a trouble. It helped our grandmother. She received not only medicine, but hot meal and warm clothes, and main - support and cordiality of the people!
So saving Hanukkah light already twice has presented happiness and health to my close people. I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart workers of Hesed, American committee "Joint" and all people with hot not indifferent heart in our community. Huge happiness to you, dear, and long years of life!
