Dear Jews of Kazakhstan!

Having arrived year ago in Almaty, I have got acquainted here with prospering local Diaspora, conducting fruitful public activity for the boon of the Jewish people.

It was pleasant so far from Israel to meet colleagues, which support spirit of the people and connection with the ancient historical motherland, due to policy of religious liberalism and tolerance spent by the Kazakhstan government.

Having worked one year in this country, I reached a conclusion, that between Kazakhstan and Israel it is a lot of common, and, therefore, there are strong reasons to continue successful cooperation, which, fortunately, is already adjusted.

I ask you always to consider Embassy of Israel as your second home, and us, Israeli diplomats, compatriots, which will be with you both in a grief, and in pleasure.

I wish all of you, as well as to this remarkable country, in which the Jews always accepted with kindness, it is wonderful to meet New Year. Let it bring you health and prosperity!
