The family club "Shalom" annually celebrates Rosh-ha-Shana - traditional always unusual holiday. It comes in first Tishrey and lasts for two days which are considered as one long day. It is connected and to other Jewish Tradition - day of creation of Adam and Hava. This day New Year on the Jewish calendar also is celebrated.

For family club "Shalom" this holiday means also and abundance. The summer residents bring on a celebration fruit and vegetables, table, as well as it is necessary, are burst with viands cooked by do-it-himselfers of family club. It is both and stuffed fish, and fish under sweet sauce, salads, tzimes from carrots. The main rule is observed: on a table there is nothing bitter, salty, and hot. And round hala with raisin symbolizing crown, dip in honey. It was baked by Lubov Koretskaya, she and conducted feast: told about traditions of a holiday. Under her direction we have executed the main ritual: dipped an apple in honey.

There were many people making statement: fathers of club Semen Levenberg, Arkady Plotkin, Illarion Koretsky. Highly estimated our measure Natalie Dorman. And director of Hesed "Polina" Sima Branovitch, telling, how celebrate Rosh-ha-Shana in Israel, offered on tradition to inform the most significant family events of the last year. And it has caused the special reviving: the grandsons entered the institute, children went in musical school, the grandsons and great-grandsons were born, celebrated anniversary, silver wedding.

The holiday finished with quiz which was conducted by Olga Drobnokhod, and lyrical verses of Maina Kabirova. Maina not for the first time reads her verses. She devotes them to members of club (absolutely recently in "Davar" N 7 the selection of her verses was published), Jewish holidays, seasons, Almaty nature and favourite mountains. Repeatedly she met with clients of Hesed. And these creative meetings were not limited to reading of verses. The exhibitions of her photos always accompanied each measure. And today we put her verses devoted to a holiday Rosh-ha-Shana.
