The meeting of the businessmen of both countries is held within the framework of 5-th session of the Kazakhstani-Israeli intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation. The diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Israel were established in April, 1992. The strengthening of political dialogue considerably was promoted by visits of the President of RK Nursultan Nazarbayev in Israel in 1995 and 2000, and also chiefs of Government of Kazakhstan. Between cities Almaty and Tel-Aviv are established twin-city connection. In Kazakhstan lives about 50 thousand of Jews. In Israel - there is a lot of expatriates from Kazakhstan.

Commodity between the countries in 2006 made $698,7 mln. Thus the export from Kazakhstan in Israel has made 622,4 mln. Dollars, and import from Israel in Kazakhstan - $76,2 mln. The basic exported goods are petroleum and cotton. Israel delivers on the Kazakhstan market the equipment, farm produce, product from plastic.

105 enterprises with participation of the Israeli capital are registered in Kazakhstan. Basically they are involved in such branches, as oil and gas, metallurgical, mining and manufacturing industry, manufacture of cable production, construction, and operation with immovable property, rent and services to the enterprises, trade.

Volume of means enclosed by the Israeli business in economy of Kazakhstan exceeds $300 mln and Kazakhstan investments in Israel - $50 mln.
