The ministry of culture and the information together with the Centre on research of problems of the interethnic relations conducted a scientific conference on a theme "Influence of religious organizations on ethnoses of Kazakhstan". In a conference held on December 24 in the House of Friendship, the chiefs of the national-cultural centers, leaders of religious organizations, scientists, representatives of state bodies and mass media took part.

The majority of the participants agreed, that in Kazakhstan was generated the unique model of interethnic and interconfessional consent, serving as positive example for other countries. The salutary influence of religion on the man was marked - it harmonizes, promotes a healthy way of life, gives moral guidelines. The majority of religions calls for the peace and love and have no anything common with extremism and terrorism.
During the conference 13 reports sounded. In them statistical data, the materials of OSCE, information taken from forums, press conferences, press were used.

Summarizing, the participants agreed, that at the conference the interesting questions were set. It was decided to create analytical group and to continue discussion on the same theme next time.
