The Jewish people remember the ancestors, honor Traditions and never forget about the culture. And again we recollect great sons of the Israeli people, whose names have come in a world history. In Hesed of Astana the mobile exhibition of the artist - graphic Ephraim Moshe Lilien arrived. For many there was as opening, that a famous portrait of Theodore Hertzel (written on a photo made by artist) leaning on a handrail of bridge, through Rein in Bazel, work of this talented man absorbed by ideas of Zionism.

The clients of Hesed, members of a community and visitors stop at works of Lilien and can not tear off an eye any more, penetrating in the essence of the images. There is no need to describe emotions of everyone, who already has visited at an exhibition. The works speak for themselves: illustrations to the collection "Songs of ghetto", the especial feelings cause works "Songs of Ieghuda" (Ben Halevi), such, as "In love pair", "Lovers with the pigeons", "Dead beloved".

The director of JCC on opening tried to tell community about difficulties, which have dropped out on a share Lilien, has told about creative activity, which is indissoluble with Jewry and Zionist ideas.
