Delegation of Republic of Kazakhstan led by deputy minister of foreign affairs Nurlan Ermekbayev in December 10-12 visited State Israel, within the framework of which the Kazakhstan-Israeli consultations between foreign-policy departments of two countries were held, informs Kazinform with the reference to press-service of Embassy of RK in State Israel.

During meeting with the general director of MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) of Israel Aaron Abramovitch the wide circle of questions of the bilateral relations, including condition and prospects of political dialogue, trade-economic and cultural - humanitarian cooperation was discussed. During consultations the sides expressed interest in organization of visits of the presidents and ministers of foreign affairs of two countries, and also exchange in the near future by visits of parliamentary delegations. The intention is expressed to cooperate closely in sphere of external policy, in common working in progress of peace process in Near East, reduction of intensity and establishment of the peace in the given region and all over the world. Kazakhstan and Israel will continue interaction in frameworks of UN, International Atomic Energy Agency, SVMDA, WTO and other international organizations and forums, and also to encourage interreligious dialogue. The importance of struggle with the international terrorism organized crime and other forms of illegal activity is emphasized.

Within the framework of consultations the essential breakthrough in the Kazakhstan-Israeli cooperation in the field of trade, investments and innovations was marked. The parties welcomed the vigorous activity of the businessmen of two countries in the markets of both countries, especially in such areas, as the reclamation industry, construction, telecommunications, real estate, trade, high technologies and medicine. The Israeli party congratulated Kazakhstan on election on a post of the chairman in OSCE in 2010.

On results of meeting the sides accepted the joint Protocol of meeting On the threshold of international consultations meeting of the chiefs of consular services of two countries was held, on which the complex migratory and passport-visa questions was considered.

Within the framework of visit of Nurlan Ermekbayev visited Knesset of the State Israel, where conducted the meeting with the members of deputy group on cooperation with Kazakhstan led by vice-speaker of the Israeli Parliament Amnon Cohen
