Having twirled in problems of adult life, frequently forget, that you too at one time studied at school, tried as better as possible to finish a term, up to tears experienced because of bad marks. But in any case, you know, that everything will be good - you see after assiduous work at the school desk the vacation will follow!!!
But, you see, it is silly mope around all week near the TV set or computer. Then to the aid with boredom and loneliness comes Jewish Community Center at Hesed "Astana"! The week at the children's centre flew so quickly, that we had time to carry out only half of conceived. But we can brag of the done half.
There gathered not so much guys: tightened walk in a court yard resulted colds and virus infections, the grandmothers in any way did not wish to let off from themselves their children etc. And it is a pity, because in camp it was very interesting.
A lot of time we have given to preparation for Hanukkah. This year together with children's club "Shatil" we decided to try ourselves in actor's skill and to prepare sketch about a victory of Maccabbees and consecration of Temple. Children prepared for a forthcoming holiday also vocal numbers, but what musical gifts expect our community, I while shall keep in a secret. In one of days we with the guys on the huge poster represented the state Israel. It was necessary just to put before children a map, as the work began to boil. Everyone tried to find that city, in which his native or friends live.
Then we drew contour, by tags marked cities - Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Eilat, Tveria, and also the cities, where live our native and friends. We marked territories of boarding countries, did not forget and about lake Kineret, drew the river Jordan, marked the Mediterranean and Dead seas, bay of the Red sea, Golans, Galilee, desert Negev. And turned out "own" map, bright, children's! Super!
The games always deliver weight of pleasure and laughter, enable the guys to splash out the energy, and at the same time and to know each other better. Therefore youth likes trainings so.
For example: on forehead to each participant the small slice of paper is pasted, on which the given feeling is written. For example: "Admire with me" or "Be angry with me". The guys chaotically move on Community Center, and when meet with each other, should represent that given feeling, which they see on the forehead of the participant. And the participant should guess what his partner represents. It was not always easy, but it was interesting.
Due to the director of Hesed, which in the given situation acted in a role of volunteer and mum, the noisy company in one of days set off to a cinema, where the opinions were divided: boys, certainly, were for action film, the girls wanted to watch something more romantic. As the compromise was the joint viewing of a comedy - it is pleasant, however, when film has the good end.
At meeting of Shabbat Michael Kreichman - the irreplaceable chief of the religious programs of Hesed - told set of parables, in which the secrets of this Great day were opened. The girls lit the candle, the boys made Kiddush on wine. The guys liked and rite "Netilat yadayim" (ablution of hands) - first time we studied to do it on summer vacations. The guys liked it because of silence - only by gestures you can express the ideas and desires, while you eat a slice of hala, dipped in salt. Children danced "Goat" - dance for a type of tiny brook, sang songs to the accompaniment of piano.
And week flied by, the everyday lives have begun... The guys with new forces have undertaken study. They are waited by meeting with the classmates, pleasure from the earned marks, and preparation of the home task. And in Sunday - again in "Shatil"!!! See you soon guys!!!
