The last week was held the visit to the State Israel of Kazakhstan delegation led by Akim of Mangystau area Krymbek Kusherbayev. Structure of a delegation included Deputy Akim of the area Michael Bortnik, general director of RGP "Aktau the international sea trade port" Talgat Abylgazin, the chiefs of departments of public health services and agriculture of area, representatives of business.

The overall objective of visit was the involving of the Israeli technologies and investments to realization of the programs of development of region. The speech, in particular, is about the decision of essential problems of water supply, modernization of power, agriculture and public health services, development of petrochemical, transport-logistic tourist and building clusters.

The delegation visited the Israeli management of the airports, seaports Ashdod and Haifa, largest in the world factory on desalination of water "I.D.E. Technologies", corporation "Tahal" (engineering of a water facilities), complex of agricultural objects Kvar Vitkin, factory on processing of milk "TESSA", hothouse economy "Soli" and "Miftafim", Ashdod an oil refining factory, Israeli electrical corporation, building holding "Solel Boneh", and also line of the Israeli clinics.

The meetings with the deputy prime Minister of Israel Shimon Peres, minister of national infrastructures Benjamin Ben-Eliezer and mayor of city Ashdod Zvi Tsilker were held.

In Tel Aviv the presentation of the investment projects of Mangystau area "Ground - sea-sky" had passed, in which the representatives of the Israeli business took part.

During meeting Shimon Peres emphasized the growing authority of Kazakhstan and President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the modern world. "Kazakhstan - is a country of the horses. The history is a galloping horse. It is necessary always to have time to jump on it, otherwise it will gallop away without you. This true precisely realizes President Nursultan Nazarbayev, to what today's dynamically developing Kazakhstan" testifies, - he told.

Shimon Peres has noted that Israel is a leader of agricultural revolution, when 5 % of success depends only on water and ground, rest is provided at the expense of a science and technologies. Israel achieved the large successes in many other branches and is ready to share experience with Kazakhstan, including by creation of joint ventures.

B. Ben-Eliezer emphasized, that considers Kazakhstan among four most perspective markets for the investments, among which also Russia, India and China are. He noted, that attentively follows processes on erection of pipeline infrastructure between Caspiy and Mediterranean Sea, in this connection has informed on the planned construction of three pipelines - petroleum, gas and water - along east Mediterranean between Turkey and Israel. He told about the project of erection of water "Channel of the world" between the Red and drying up Dead Sea.

Within the framework of meeting with mayor of city Ashdod Zvi Tsilker signing the agreement about an establishment of familiarity between Mangystau area and Ashdod city was held. The accepted document emphasizes importance of escalating of cooperation and exchange of experience in sphere of municipal management, economy and trade, science and hi-tech manufactures, culture and art, education and sports, tourism.

The Israeli city Ashdod on much socio economic and urbanistic characteristics is similar on Aktau, in particular, by presence of large seaport similar conditions of energo- and water provision, priority development of petrochemistry and transport-logistic services, careful urban planning.

The similarity of climatic and geographical conditions of Israel and Mangystau area makes mutual cooperation rather perspective. So, the agricultural complex Kvar Vitkin has expressed readiness during the coming months to begin a structure in the field of modern high productive complexes on cultivation a bird and large horned cattle, and also cultivation of flowers. Besides here number of the Israeli businessmen under the projects of a hothouse facilities and systems of drops irrigation already works.

By the end of 2007 the company "I.D.E. Technologies" will put into operation in Mangystau area two installations on desalination of sea water by general capacity in 12 thousand cubic meters per day for industrial needs "Maek-Kazatomprom" and provision with drinking water the population of Aktau. A total cost of the project - is 14 mln. US Dollars. Kazakhstan delegation specially delivered 60 liters of the Caspian Sea water for study of its structure in laboratories of "I.D.E. Technologies".

In the nearest future the realization of number of the new Kazakhstan-Israeli projects in this area of Kazakhstan, in particular, in sphere of public health services of water supply, tourism, road construction, agriculture and transport infrastructure is expected. With this purpose the group of the Israeli businessmen by the end of May will visit Aktau for detailed study of the projects.
