July 1 in Astana with success passed final gala-concert of III Central-Asian Jewish festival of children's and youth creation "FREILEHE KINDER". Leitmotif of a festival was a revival of national Traditions.

Heart of Sary-Arka was filled with children's voices and melody of stirring FREILEHE. The performance the young generation of the Jewish community devoted to most dear for heart of each Jew city - Jerusalem. In honor of it the songs in the Kazakh, Russian languages, and also Hebrew and Yiddish sounded.

First three days a festival was accepted by Karaganda. 180 children from 15 areas of Kazakhstan, and also Russia each day left on a stage at first of sanatorium "Zhartas" (located under Karaganda), and June 30 was held gala concert in the best hall of city - theatre of a drama named after Stanislavsky.

It is especially important, that with each year the participation in a festival takes ever more children from the programs "Etgar" and "Mazal Tov". The kids, teenagers from the incomplete and socially unprotected families do not remain behind a board of a cheerful colorful holiday "FREILEHE KINDER", and instead of a street spend the most part of time in Hesed, rehearsing new dances, studying songs and participating in performances.

The general sponsor of a festival – is American Joint Jewish Distribution Committee "Joint". A festival also was supported by the Euroasian Jewish Congress, Jewish Congress of Kazakhstan, and Association "Mitsva". With their help and at participation of Kazakhstani Maecenas, rendered the help to collectives in record of soundtracks, purchase of musical instruments, creation of scenic costumes, the Central-Asian Jewish festival of children's and youthful creation "FREILEHE KINDER" became a reality.

The participants of a festival were welcomed by city authorities. On behalf of karagandians to the participants of a festival has addressed M.B Aliyeva, secretary of Small Assembly of Nations of Kazakhstan of the Karaganda area. "FREILEHE KINDER" also congratulated Alexandr Baron - the president of Association of the Jewish national organizations of Kazakhstan "Mitsva".

On III Central-Asian Jewish festivals of children’s and youth creation of three nominations were submitted - vocal, theatre, choreography. The youngest participant of festival - debutante-vocalist Xenia Sorokolit - recently was 5 years old, and as "fathers" the guys of 22 years old were considered.

Professional concert platforms beforehand made schedule of rehearsals, opportunity to work to the chiefs of collectives with sound director all this helped the guys maximally to realize potential.Boards of the professionals, mutual interest of collectives from different cities, support on the part of the new friends, and as inhabitants of Karaganda, appeared powerful stimulus for the participants of a festival.

As gratitude for warm reception, children presented to sanatorium "Zhartas", which soul they became for 3 days, and large, bright concert for having a rest by.

Both in Astana and in Karaganda the festival collected full halls. Besides performance children visited at fascinating survey excursion along Astana. They could see capital, blossoming with each year, to visit Bayterek, to take a walk on quay, to get acquainted with central synagogue "Beit Rachel".

Annual Central-Asian Jewish festival of children's and youth creation it is really holiday! A holiday bright, flashing, not like anything seen by you earlier. To visit here - is happiness, as for the adult man: the spectator, fan, parent, teacher, as for the child. This is a place of meeting with creation, with the friends, with original culture of the Jewish people. On "FREILEHE KINDER" it is always warm and very comfortable. In many respects it is a merit of the organizers aspiring to foresee and obviously to solve any contradictions, to outstrip problems, to answer difficult questions. "FREILEHE KINDER" is capable and to be further as a center of national-cultural life, stimulus for the further development, and also disclosure of creative potential of young generation.
