 The Victory Day - this holiday was, is and we would like to believe, that remain in hearts of many generations. We, people of middle-age, were lucky, we still listen to the stories about war of the eyewitnesses. And it hurts our heart that they remain ever less and less. Thins out the line of veterans. But their feat is immortal, and the memory of everyone, who is not already with us, lives.
In Community Center "Shamash" there is a tradition - to meet Victory Day in a circle of the veterans and workers of rear. Such meetings cheers up, first of all of veterans. The memoirs, front jokes, front songs sound. Everyone can share the feelings; tell both about difficult years and about joyful minutes, about the front youth. The friends are recollected also, and certainly those who remained on a field of fight, and those whom is not present already with us. You see the time is implacable.
The warm conversation at the table was accompanied by musical performances of the actors of Theatre of a musical comedy, kind friends of JCC "Shamash". The soloist of theatre Leonid Melnikov, executing a song "Spring of 45-th year" has invited all to a waltz. The veterans were congratulated by the director of Hesed "Miriam" Bella Kamenetskaya and director of JCC "Shamash" Irina Kozhanovskaya.
