 The man has left life, about which speak - legend - Leonid Sedelnikov. Born on Ukraine in the beginning of the last century, he passed all tests which have dropped out on a share of the Jews of XX century. A beginning of Great Domestic War - ghetto, runaway, radio operator of partisan group, after connection with parts of Red Army - front. War has finished as the Winner. He worked in Kiev.
About the reason of the moving from Ukraine in Kazakhstan spoke a little, but only once mentioned, did not let to work. He has arrived to Kazakhstan in Akmolinsk, in that time Kokchetav region, Atbasarsky district, village Marinovka with the wife and two children. They lived in hotel while have not received own floor space. He began to work as deputy editor of the newspaper "Marininskaya Pravda". Soon he has headed edition of this newspaper, and up to a retirement on pension remained permanent chief. Not one generation of the professional journalists and now works in editions of the new papers of all levels from urban up to republican, past school of Leonid Sedelnikov.
By him are written and published five books. The most complete, autobiographical edition, on which during many years the author worked, became the book "The Fiery versts".
In 2004 Leonid Sedelnikov transferred in gift to all Hasadim of Kazakhstan some copies of each of the books.
Hesed last years helped family of Sedelnikov, as much as could and with could. Leonid Sedelnikov lived in 250 kms. from Kokshetau. Monthly to him delivered food packages, medicines, winter relief. He conducted active public life, was present on opening of an exhibition in regional in a museum of local lore devoted to 90th anniversary of Joint. But the years have its effect.
Literally three months has not lived Leonid Sedelnikov till the 81st anniversary. And such bitter phrase: "He for a long time remains in our memory" gets new meaning, when we speak about remarkable, goods, the wise man what was Leonid Sedelnikov.
