The recipes of the Jewish kitchen many of us learned, unfortunately, not from the senior generation. As the textbooks of Traditions of our people became books, including the books on cookery. They and in a variety were presented on Community Festival of Jewish book in Kostanay. But this exhibition would be more boring if these dishes could not be tasted! Therefore participants of female club did their best, in the culinary masterpieces using both widespread and rare recipes of the Jewish cuisine.
Salad presented on court of exacting jury, Alla Gafurova prepared on the recipe of the relatives from Israel. Such combination of components: fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, apples, pineapples, oranges. It was to taste haricot salad of Olga Kuperman, which, being at visit at the son in Israel, was interested also in local dishes. All were surprised with the culinary talent the eldest of the members of club Ninelle Berelovitch. Tzimes she cooked like her mum once.
General success used a stewed fish with vegetables from Tamara Novikova; pies with a fish and egg baked by Zinaida Buras and Nina Rakhman. Also to everybody's taste were helped out for tea twiglets from Eugenia Parkhomenko and original cakes and buns, baked by Valentina Abfelko, Lydia Kazakevitch and Marina Shorohova.
