At the New York Centre of Bukhara Jews there was a celebratory event - was solemnly brought in new Scroll of Torah. It is created in memory of two remarkable women of Bukhara - Jewish community - rebetsn Hana Levieva-Nektalova and pedagogue Zilpo Nektalova-Benyaminova.
On tradition the holiday was opened by the musicians. It seemed, that all community has joined triumph of numerous family and relatives of Raphael Nektalov, dressed up in gold embroidered Bukhara dressing gownes and dancing with Scrolls of Torah on hands.
Procession, which many Americans joined, under sounds of karnays and surnays with tambourines proceeded from a building of post office to the Centre of the Bukhara Jews, solemnly having brought Scroll in synagogue.
The Bukhara Jews are orthodox. But here - it is rare case! - The procession was headed by the women! It was made in honor of dear our guest Kulyash Altynbayeva from Kazakhstan.
Her destiny, her charities, help, which she renders to our compatriots at her native land, deserves the special narration. And it is under her initiative and at her sponsor's support was written new Scroll of Torah, expensive for all of us already by that it was given to us by not Jewish woman!
Kulyash is well known to Russian America. In 2006 she was awarded the rank "Jewish woman of 2005"! And on celebration in New York the representatives of set of the Jewish organizations of America applauded to the winner.
The founder of fund "House of Chabad", sponsor of many measures in the Jewish community of Almaty, participant of the action on rendering assistance to children of Sderot Kulyash Altynbayeva began the statement by words of prayer.
"Shma Isroel Adonay Eloghenynu Adonoy Ehad"! – addressed to hall guest, and on eyes at rabbis, numerous visitors of evening the tears appeared.
The native of Kzyl-Orda, Altynbayeva stated gratitude to Levi Levaev, president of the World Congress of the Bukhara Jews and Federation of the Jewish communities of CIS and Baltic states, for that huge philanthropic activity, which he has developed in Kazakhstan and America, having named herself his associate.
"The Bukhara Jews are the Jews of my childhood, - she said, - I remember their dances, orders and cuisine".
The journalist Raphael Nektalov, which, as well as necessary to the people of his trade, "opened" Kulyash to the Americans, noted, that already offer of Altynbayeva to sponsor a spelling of new Scroll of Torah, made to him during last trip to Kazakhstan, could strike imagination.
"She has such surprising Jewish heart and huge respect for our people", - he told on celebrations, having emphasized thus surprising tolerance inherent in all Kazakh people.

Guest from Almaty welcomed chief rabbi of a community of Bukhara Jews of America Itzhac Yeshuova, constant representative of Republic of Kazakhstan at UN - ambassador Byrganym Aytimova (and on Russian, English and Hebrew: before arrival in New York Mrs. Aytimova worked five years in a post of the ambassador of Kazakhstan in Israel), senator John Sabini, member of city Board David Veprin, president of a Congress of the Bukhara Jews of USA and Canada Boris Kandov, president of Interboro College Michael O'Brian and professor of this high School Jerry Konbruz, honorable vice-president of our community Rakhmin Nektalov, vice-president of female organization "Or-Hana" Anya Abayeva. And a maximum praise of activity of Kulyash became the message of the president of the World Congress of Bukhara Jews Levi Levaev to the organizers of a holiday:
"I have got acquainted with Mrs. Altynbayeva in Kazakhstan, and was struck, with what energy, with what sincerity and self-feedback she helps the Jews of Kazakhstan to observe the traditions and culture, that is to remain the Jews".
