Each spring in capital of Russia the young Jewish actors are gathering. The creative forum allows carrying out review of processes occurring in the Jewish art creation, to define ways of the further development. A festival "Light a candle!" - is important stage in work of those who has devoted themselves to the Jewish art.

The singers and dancers, readers and musicians instrumentalists leaders choirmasters, choreographers, directors; the leaders of community programs get a unique opportunity to get acquainted with repertoire, to exchange experience and, main, to present results of the intense work on court of the spectator. By virtue of the known reasons the Jews during many decades were torn off from national tradition. However today revival and formation of the Jewish culture depends only on ourselves.

We are sure, that enthusiasm, professionalism, respect and fidelity to culture and traditions of the Jewish people can return to life original culture of our people". With such small speech welcomed the participants of the XI Moscow International Festival of Jewish children's and youth art creation "Light a candle!" chief Rabbi of Russia Adolph Shaevitch and President of a Congress of the Jewish religious organizations and associations of Russia Arkady Gaydamak.

And we welcomed winners of this Festival, vocal collective "Anavim", by tea-drinking with the large and tasty pie! Everyone, who looked forward arrival of our girls - parents, boys, with pleasure listened to the stories about trip, about the participants, about those sights of Moscow, which having time to visit our guest performers, despite of the dense schedule of work of a Festival.

Having a good look at photos we only needed to be glad for our vocal collective, to which had the honour to open final gala-concert at theatre named after Vakhtangov by song "Mezuzah", music to which was written by our Pavlodarian composer Igor Bulatov. And we understand a choice of the organizers of a Festival, because this product, in performance of our vocal collective, which supervises Tatiana Slivinskaya, hardly whom can leave indifferent. Creative successes, to you, vocal collective "Anavim"!
