 On results of 2006, Hesed in Taraz was named as the best Jewish welfare organization of Ka-zakhstan and awarded with the Diploma and digital camera as encouragement.
Despite of our very "modest" staff, our Taraz Jewish community counts about 900 men. The charitable help our Hesed covers about 200 men of the adults and more than 200 children. Certainly, it is a merit of all divisions: that is and service "Home care" (chief Ludmila Futoryan-skaya), which serves ill, lonely and inactive clients of a community; that is and chief of the medical program Hayunya Grinberg, which provides with medical preparations needy clients; it is a merit and of Alla Koroleva - coordinator of the children's programs that is very extensive program, which includes classes) with children on the Jewish culture, rendering of the charitable help to children in dire need, this is and realization of community measures and active participa-tion in city measures.
Certainly, in it there is considerable merit and of our volunteers, which are always ready to reach to us to the aid, both in packaging of grocery sets, and in realization of community and cityn measures, in realization of literary and musical saloons.
Especially it would be desirable to note competent work of the operator of a database Vladimir Beloglazov. Due to his efficiency always electronic mail in time is sent. Despite of the large congestion, he is always ready to reach to the aid of us - employees of Hesed in any busi-ness, and as to children - in mastering of the computer.
Well, and, at last, most important part in our work, as well as in anyone another are fi-nances. And here also "reigns" from the date of the creation Taraz Hesed Ludmila Bajanova - bookkeeper which work highly appreciates our management in Almaty. The precise work, in time and professionally competently made reports is "business of her hands". Not without reason she is one of the best bookkeepers of Hasadim in Kazakhstan.
Each participant of our community come to us behind the help or which has simply glanced to us "on small light ", meet a smile and goodwill of the director of Taraz Hesed Helena Dmitrieva. Working early as volunteer, then director of Jewish Community Center, and now - as the director of Hesed, Helena makes much for prosperity of our Taraz Jewish community, achieves increase of criteria and finance for rendering the material help not only our clients - townspeople, but also the one who lives on periphery: the regional centre Burnoe, Shu city, re-gional centre Merke. They also are our clients and in full measure receive the charitable help. She adequately represents our Hesed at republican seminars and together with the coordinator of the children's programs - on the Central-Asian international festivals of children's and youth creation.
Now, certainly, far from being each member of the Jewish community can expect for the material help (which is distributed strictly according to criteria), but goodwill and understanding, "first steps" in knowledge of a history of the Jewish people, its religion, traditions and customs we to you guarantee.
