Taraz library named after Auezov, hospitably having flung open doors, met the participants and visitors of 6-th Community Festival of Jewish Book. In a hall the small part of fund of the books on Judaic, history of the Jewish people, customs and Traditions, fiction of the Jewish authors, periodic editions ("Shalom", "Davar", booklets) were exposed; was made out Shabbat table, on which stood in beauty Scroll of Torah and ritual accessories necessary for realization of Shabbat, and also symbolic of Israel and Kazakhstan.

The posters "Holocaust" or "Disaster" reminded to all gathered of the most tragical period for all history of our people - the Second World War. For this period Nazis exterminated in territory of Germany and occupied countries of Europe 6000000 Jews. About it told conducting of CFJB Ida Bukina. Then the lines from poems of Seagull, Ozerov, Evtushenko, Antokolsky sounded. And poem "Boy from ghetto" in performance of Vera Grinberg touched up to tears all present.

Creation of the writers and poets of the Jewish origin: Dombrovsky, Chukovsky, Tzveig and Barto, presented volunteers Valentina Rastorgueva and Alla Esekeeva. They not only interestingly told about creation of the known people, but also have acquainted the students with some pages of their biographies.

On a festival was presented two-volume edition of Alexandr Mashkevitch "Jews and world ". We join in opinion with the author and we hope, that " these books will induce someone to reflections about a role of the Jews in the world, to discussion, to desire to return to sources, to search of the answer on eternal questions: who we are? Why we? ".

Due to musical pauses, "interspersed" between performances, the time has flown as one instant.

And we already have come to a final part - "Children's page". On one of racks the exhibition of children's creation, children's picture was presented. The guys who took active participation in an exhibition were marked with the diplomas.

The children's drama circle presented interesting colorful musical performance "Adventure in the book state ". It would seem, on it would be possible and to finish the first day of Community Festival of Jewish Book. But the management of Community Center prepared a surprise. The director of Hesed Helena Dmitrieva congratulated children of Taraz on the beginning of academic year, and under a rough applause handed over Jewish children, which this year went to 1 class, portfolios with school accessories.
