 The increased attention to Kazakhstan on the part of world mass media is observed last time. And Israel did not become the exception. Here is just small review of press made by the representatives of embassy of Kazakhstan in Israel. The basic interest of the Israeli press is concentrated around of recent visit to this country Karim Masimov in quality still of assistant of the prime Minister.
The visit of Mr. Masimov in October of the last year became the rather important information occasion for attraction of attention of Mass Media of Israel to modern Kazakhstan. Practically all editions emphasized the importance of Kazakhstan in external policy of Israel. First, Kazakhstan is the country with mainly Muslim population, which has managed to build the good relations both with Israel, and with the Arabian world. Secondly, Kazakhstan is the large supplier of power resources on the international markets. Thirdly, the republic increases export of the investments, especially in sphere of high technologies.
The newspaper "Ha-Tsofe" writes: " Karim Masimov has brought the oral message to the Israeli people from the President Nursultan Nazarbayev, according to which Kazakhstan, being moderate Muslim country, shows interest to occurring on the Near East and is interested in development of political and economic communications with Israel and its neighbors. Masimov especially emphasized, that Kazakhstan is going to accept active participation in all measures on "rapprochement of hearts" between the representatives of various religions and present an example modern moderate Muslim country supporting close contacts to all countries of the Near East ".
The newspaper "A-modia" gives the statement of vice-premier of Israel Sh. Peres that the participation of Kazakhstan in processes occurring in the Near East is extremely important for Israel: "By its religious moderation and tolerance of Kazakhstan prepares ground for other Muslim countries, which are interested in adjustment of the relations with Israel ".
 "The Friendly connections between Israel and Kazakhstan will help with counteraction to religious fundamentalism", - the newspaper "Israeli" emphasizes.
In the material, initiated by Embassy, in the newspaper "Jerusalem Post" the statement of the Prime Minister Eghud Olmert is given during meeting with Karim Masimov about that "modern developing Kazakhstan demonstrates an excellent example for all Muslim countries - as in questions of economic development, and interethnic consent. Kazakhstan can show the perfect face of Islam ". It was marked, that K. Masimov transferred the invitation of N. Nazarbayev to the Israeli premiere to visit Kazakhstan with official visit.
 The significant attention was paid on signing within the framework of visit of the contract between Kazakhstan joint stock-company "National Innovation fund" and managing company Vertex Venture Capital about investment in Israeli venture fund Vertex III Fund L.P. The sum of the Kazakhstan investments in venture fund has made 5 mln. US dollars, at general its capitalization in 150 mln. US dollars.
Economic Daily newspaper "Globes" explains that the investments in "Vertex" are carried out within the framework of cooperation between Government of Kazakhstan and Israel in sphere of the risk capital, and also interuniversity cooperation. In interview to the newspaper "Israeli" the founder and head of "Vertex" Y. Oron has emphasized, that " the investments of the Kazakhstan government is a part of policy of fund directed on attraction of the international strategic investors, which will help to open the markets before " portfolio " clients of fund. Kazakhstan located in Central Asia, becomes recently attractive object for the Israeli technological companies ", - it is marked in the publication.
"These are the first investments of Kazakhstan in Israeli venture fund, - the newspaper "Ha Arets" emphasizes. - Now this country experiences powerful economic rise caused by the high prices for petroleum and gas, and also reforms actively spent by its management".
The newspaper "Maariv" marks that the funds of development of Kazakhstan intend to invest millions of dollars in the various projects in Israel. The part of these investments will go on development of advanced technologies, others - on realization of the regional economic projects. "Kazakhstan has expressed interest in cooperation with Israel in hydroeconomic sphere, in sphere in sphere of nanotechnologies, and also in creation of technological parks".

The news agency "Kursor" marks, that by 2015 Kazakhstan plans to increase daily volume of oil extracting with 1,3 mln. barrel up to 3 mln., from which 90 % will be directed on export. The newspaper "Ha Arets" marks, that in connection with joining of Kazakhstan to pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan the opportunity of the Israeli participation in transference of the Caspian power resources from Mediterranean on the markets of Asia is considered. "According to the plans, "the infrastructural corridor" between Turkey and Israel becomes the power bridge connecting Central Asia to the Near East, and having an output on the world markets. At the present moment the expediency of this project is checked, which cost is estimated in 2 billion dollars. Within the framework of the project the infrastructural corridor for deliveries of petroleum and gas will be created, and it is possible, also of water and electricity ", - informs "Ha Arets".
 The brisk reaction was caused by a question on possible participation of Kazakhstan in a privatization of objects of an oil processing infrastructure of Israel. "Kazakhstan weighs an opportunity of participation in tender on purchase of the shares of Haifa oil-processing factory during planned in the beginning of 2007 of their issue on a stock exchange ", - informs the Internet - portal " Walla! " and also emphasizes, that " the interest to release of the shares of the company on the part of other state is rather encouraging parameter ".
The newspaper "Ediot Akhronot" marks, that Kazakhstan wishes to invest and in other branches in Israel, not being limited petroleum sphere. "According to K. Masimov, the Government of Kazakhstan aspires to vary the economy, instead of to expect only for petroleum. Therefore it is important to the country to develop industry of science intensive technologies. After several meetings with the representatives of Israeli high-tech companies K. Masimov was convinced, that they can very help the Kazakhstan economy. Vice-premier invited the Israeli companies to master the market of advanced technologies of Kazakhstan ".

Masimov - is further strengthening of communications between two countries ". The statement of the businessman L. Levaev further is given about that the development of business and trade is the important factor in the bilateral relations and that efforts for expansion of cooperation now are undertaken in the field of high technologies, medicine, agriculture, education and other spheres.
The newspaper "Globs" informs, that Kazakhstan considers an opportunity of a direction in Israel of the students within the framework of the program "Bolashak", according to which the Government finances training of 3 000 students per one year at leading universities of the world.
