In USA the ceremony of rewarding with the premiums of New York federation of the "Incorporated Jewish appeal" (UJA), leading American organization on fund raising on the charitable and humanitarian programs for Israel and Jewish Diasporas was finished. With the premium UJA for global leadership, which was presented for the first time in one of the oldest halls of New York Cipriani, the President of Euroasian Jewish Congress (EAJC), head of the Jewish Congress of Kazakhstan Alexandr Mashkevitch was awarded. On ceremony of rewarding was present Kanat Saudabayev, Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan in USA. The senator - democrat from state of New York Charles Shumer presented the premium.

Besides the merits of the winner in the statement were noted by the leader of Conference of the Presidents of the largest Jewish organizations of USA Malcolm Henline and head of fund "Appeal to conscience", rabbi Arthur Shneir, presented the English edition of the book of Mashkevitch "Jews and the world". "In due time ours fellow tribesman in USA put many efforts that Jews of USSR had the right to be repatriated on the historical Native land and to observe tradition consecrated by the Most High", - declared President of EAJC to the journalists upon termination of celebrations, - "today we help American Jewry in its hard opposition to the international terrorism. Mashkevitch also especially emphasized necessity of expansion of the international interethnic and interreligious dialogue, in which participates EAJC. "Interreligious forums, past in Kazakhstan, have shown, that the dialogue with the political and spiritual leaders of Central Asia creates the real preconditions for effective peacemaking on Middle East and in other regions of a planet", - told the head of EAJC, - "we frequently see of the representatives of the American authority and society on our measures. But it is necessary to make still very much, that this cooperation has found constant and system character".
