August 30, 1995 was passed today working Constitution of Kazakhstan. The date of August 30 is announced as a state holiday. Last Saturday in Almaty everywhere passed mass festivals and concerts devoted to Day of the Constitution of Kazakhstan.

At school #26 - was threefold holiday. Along with day of the Constitution here celebrated birth of new Alatau district and beginning of new academic year. The pupils in the strict black-and-white form lined up. First-formers appreciably worried. The faces of parents shined with pride. To congratulate the schoolchildren, teachers and management of new area arrived and president of Association of Jewish National Organization of Kazakhstan "Mitsva" Alexander Baron and Chairman of Board of Jewish Cultural Center "Shalom" Alexander Arepyev.

- Today is holiday not only at the schoolchildren, - told Alexander Arepyev, but also Birthday of new district of Almaty. And at birthday it is accepted to give gifts. 10 boxes - more than 3 hundreds books were presented Republican Jewish library at JCC "Rimon" to the youth centre "Ata-Mura".  - We hope, that these books will be useful for new, growing up generation.
