- I have come at Hesed since 2002 year, - Julia said, - and I am very much obliged to its employees, particularly to medical. They saved my life practically.

Julia Kruchkova is 76 years old, she was teacher-psychologist in the past, said how the employees of this charity organization helped her to life.

In April past year Julia come to Day center where the veteran of Jewish community meeting for talking, sharing news, discussing book novelty, etc. From the get-go she felt giddy and had headache. The medicals of Hesed took her blood pressure and took pills. It didn’t help. Feels became worse. They called to emergency. But medicals refused firstly to take her to hospital. But the employeers of community insist on hospitalization, they and Julia went together, and they watched till evening at the hospital. They worried, the medicals to make out a diagnosis - stroke. Thanks to present hospitalization they saved Julia. She spent several days lying down in bed.

- If she had felt bed on road to us or at home where nobody helps her, it is terrible to imagine what could happen - the manager of Hesed medical program Danilenko Janna.

Now Julia fells good, visits Day center, library.

- There are interesting programs for elderly, - Julia tells, - Sometimes we were gone at exhibitions and to the park. All holidays are held very cheery. Girls from the department of "Home care" help me to clean my flat. Thank you very much all employees of Hesed and especially Natalie Kriventsova for attention and kindness.

There are many lonely old men. There are men of different occupation and sufficiency. They need help attention and communication. The employees of Hesed "Polina" work for this, they try to satisfy the demands of veterans-Jewish for make better and easier their life. For example, more than 300 men get more important and very expensive medicine every month, and about 280 men consult about their health from Hesed.
