The real winter gift for the members of the Jewish community became trip at the end of December in a boarding house "Kargaly". There were 36 of us - volunteers and members of club "Day center"! All of us are different on inquiries, interests, physical condition, but all of us were uniform in one: everybody would like to have a good rest for these few five days, to inhale by a complete breast fresh air, to take a walk on avenues of a boarding house, to wander on vicinities, or more exactly - to receive a charge of vivacity for the next year. Yes... Only 5 days! But what!

Morning. In foyer for us waits doctor-volunteer Gregory Nedlin - he conducts morning exercise. Then morning toilet and breakfast: tasty, hearty and each day different. Pleasantly! After breakfast all our society "attacks" procedure units, in which to we are offered: inhalations, massage, ozocerite, magnetotherapy, salt mine, mineral baths, and also oxygen cocktail, herbal tea and for most active - pool. There were many active among us. Good people!!! There is on whom to emulate! Well what can we say? Sports passion - is not the hindrance for age.

The procedures are accepted. The part of vacationers goes in the apartments to have a rest before lunch, the majority go for a walk. It was wonderful! With weather, in general, we were lucky, therefore went for a walk almost everybody and much.

After lunch, rest, but short, as we had the program sated with measures. For the second day of trip - Creative evening. We gathered in foyer. Came all. It was the fireworks of our modest talents; songs, dances, verses of the own composition and of known poets, witty jokes, flashing jokes and much etc.!!!

But everything good would be not bad to repeat. Therefore on Friday after Shabbat again we gathered all together in the same foyer. Shabbat passed with all ceremonies, inherent in it. Lighting of candles, blessing on wine and on bread, remarkable supper, what should be this day, good mood! And we all are ready to please each other, performing, that we are able. Again flow of humour, songs, verses, dances under the Jewish music. Many spectators at all who are not having the attitude to the Jewish community gathered around they were just from among vacationers.

They were slightly struck, how the people "of the certain age" can have fun and have assured us, that we still can "handicap for youth". Small children having a rest also joined us and with pleasure danced with us until our measure was finished. The spectators approvingly applauded. It was felt, that they liked evening, and they were pleasantly struck by seen and heard.

How much true pleasure received everybody! It was powerful "additive" to medical procedures and walks on fresh air, you see good mood - is the best doctor. But we would like to communicate more and more. Therefore in evenings we gathered at somebody in a room for, so-called, "gatherings on interests". Again ridiculous histories, interesting stories, witty jokes, tales, games in something etc. The rest passed wonderfully!

To what else pensioners so much attention is given?! Parted with feeling of satisfaction, well and, naturally, small grief that all good quickly comes to an end. Let's live with hope, that everyone will be alive and healthy, and we again will have a rest somewhere together.
