The blessed Olympic fire was carried in the central streets of Almaty yesterday. First in the history of Olympic movement our city was render such honour.

The holiday mood in the south capital from early morning. The concert, devoted to important event of the life of Almaty - the relay of Olympic fire, begun at 2 p.m. near the Palace of Republic. Representation of 8 cultural centers performed at this concert. Jewish culture center didn’t lay aside 8 girls from ensemble "Yonaty" showed Jewish dance perfect.





The Olympic fire was brought during the performance Roza Rumbaeva took the relay and the cortege went farther about Almaty.

From Almaty the Olympic fire went to Stambul.
