The program "Children's Initiative" exists in Jewish Community Center "Rimon" since 2003. Its tasks are to divide "social" children into special groups "on needs" and to try to satisfy needs of each child. Within the framework of the given program children attend improving camp, regularly pass medical inspection and treatment, sharp needy get by winter warm clothes.

The individual approach to a physical and psychological condition of health of the child, both doctors, and teachers even at medical survey of the guys in summer camp allowed revealing among them groups of risk. At the same time in the summer generated groups of children requiring in survey of oculist and neuropathologist.

From October 22 till November 5 Almaty Center "Zabota" Hesed "Polina" conducted the action on inspection of children with problems of sight. 21 children passed complete ophthalmologic inspection.

- This action was carried out together with Clinic of the doctor Kurbanov, - tells the chief of the medical programs of Hesed Zhanna Danilenko, - Practically all children had problems with sight. A part of the guys are from needy families. To such children necessary medicinal preparations recommended by the experts of clinic, and glasses purchased Hesed.

Since November 9 in Hesed neuropathologist began to examine children. 14 already examined guys received assignment of the doctor.

At the given time with the guys the psychologist works. The training on social adaptation of children in teenage age is carried out. Besides medical aid in "Rimon" children get lessons of tradition, history, have an opportunity to realize itself in various circles.
