In the beginning of the winter Anna Osipova, choreographer of Community center, told us and our children that there is city’s choreography competition "Rauan". She suggested to our collective "Jonaty" ensemble to take part in this event. We and the children doubted at first: whether can we or not? We never took part in such competitions, especially in city’s one. But the children decided to risk and for happiness of their parents and workers of Community center successfully won in the elimination round.


The 10th of April in the Palace of the school-children, our girls danced "Jewish" and "Kazakh" dances. They were very worried, but overcome fear and danced as well as never danced before. They made all the best that could, for 100%.

Competition’s commission chose "Jewish" from the two dances. This one the girl danced on the 12th of April on the gala concert and won the 3d prize. The children were handed the diploma, the cup and the souvenir tea cups. Those cups they presented to the Community center. This is the facade side of success. But in order to win there was made great work of the choreographer, children themselves who ran for repetition to the Community center after school. Their parents also made great labor; they were making the costumes for several weeks after their work.
