The Jews of Astana celebrated new 5769 year in cafe. Had a meal the members of a community, keeping traditions of a holiday, during several hours.

Look of invited feast theatrical performance "Rosh-ha-Shana" by the representatives of young generation. In performance each man represented month of the Jewish calendar, telling, what significant occurred in a history of the Jewish people in its month. After each month the competition or game followed which on subjects suited to one month. For example, after month Shvat, which executed Orli Sakimova the visitors, having divided into groups, the various trees represented. And after month Adar (Kirill Kotlyarchuk), all together sung a cheerful song about the Jews on motive of 7.40.

Seven-year Polina Golovina, Liana Peshkina and Arthur Michaylov congratulated everybody by verses. We sang much this New Year. Especially to people's liking were songs, re-sang on known motives. For example, on motive "Light-blue car" there was sang a song about Rosh-ha-Shana: "Apple-tree garden is standing and reeling, ah, what smells comes from garden. The New Year today begins, sweet, as if an apple in honey! ".

The most active participants of quiz - Asya Rahman and Leonid Karp - got gift calendars. Leonid Karp with accuracy told about operation "Entebbe" and named date, and Asya, not reflecting, named the president of Israel awarded with the Nobel Prize, for signing of the peace contract with Egypt in 1978 - Menachem Begin Other participants, such as Helena Weitzman, Helena Levina, Pete Martsev, Mira Kocherygina made to the winners a worthy competition.

On our holiday Rosh-ha-Shana there were many conversations, fun, songs and music.
