Passed IV Central-Asian Jewish International festival of Children's and Youth Creativity "Freilehe Kinder" at support of Committee "Joint", Jewish congress of Kazakhstan and Association "Mitsva", spent in Karaganda from June 27 till June 29, 2008. This year the festival was devoted to 10th anniversary of our famous capital Astana, and its highlight were numbers reflecting culture of Yiddish.

The community of Pavlodar expresses the special gratitude to the sponsors - management of an aluminium factory - for the given bus for trip to festival.

The delegation consisted from 11 Pavlodarians, participating in nominations: "choreography" and "vocal". On the opening of a festival all teams introduced themselves and welcomed a festival. Our guys sang songs that "the whole world is in our hands! Shalom! Let's applaud all together! And let the song flow towards my friends!" On the second day the main event was selection of numbers on nominations. The studio "Anavim" (chief Tatiana Slivinskaya), these are Lisa Daerbayeva, Regina Gontmakher, Xenia Petrova Polina Engel- performed songs "Sha Shtil", "Bay mir", "Mazal Tov!". Two last were selected for gala-concert. Successful it is possible to name a debut of a duet Polina Engel and Stepan Mikhaylenko. After the dinner everybody observed for dancing marathon. Dances is the integral part of each people, from old times through dance the people expressed the feelings, desire, reflected events occurring in the surrounding world. All peoples of the world have in own way beautiful, mysterious and cheerful dances. The representatives of the Jewish people live at all corners of the globe, enriching and introducing colour in culture of the people living near. Our choreographic collective "Mazal" (Alexander Barinsky, Sasha Bryansky, Lisa Daerbayeva, Regina Gontmakher, Stepan Mikhaylenko, Xenia Petrova, Polina Engel, Nicolay Stulygin, Kate Zhdanova, Sasha Tzelovalnikov, Ilya Stilman) performed the Kazakh "Maiden" dance, nobody was left indifferent by dance - "Country". If we wish to tell about culture of Yiddish then without the Jewish wedding here is not to do without. Everybody was subdued by boyish dance. In the third day was held the gala-concert on a stage of drama theatre which went during three hours. It is a holiday of children's and youth creativity, holiday of smiles, laughter, and opportunity to show itself, it is pride of the people!

All delegations got the diploma of the participants of a festival. In our delegation there was also diploma "Young gentlemen", with which were noted the boys for tireless fun, energy and Jewish spirit introduced in a festival "Freilehe kinder".
