In the beginning of September in Pavlodar was held significant, event for all Jewish community - celebrated the veterans and representatives of Jewish Diaspora within the framework of celebrating of 10th anniversary of Astana and 70th birthday of Pavlodar area.
The evening began with songs "My Pavlodar", written by our compatriot, poet and musician Nami Gitin. The song absorbed in itself all expectations and dreams of long-term work of Pavlodarians and became leitmotif of evening.
- Northeast of Kazakhstan, majestic flood-lands and middle flow of the largest river of Kazakhstan - Irtysh, grain fields, coal sections, line of electrotransfers... That is Pavlodar area, which anniversary we celebrate this year. The most part of area is occupied by steppe plain, which the Kazakhs of yore named Sary-arka- Gold steppe. It and really keeps in herself huge riches. We are proud and we like you our land, our small motherland! Each city has the history. And our city is not exception. It lives, grows, accumulates power and declares itself. Look back! Everything, than we are proud, was created by hands of our mothers and fathers, our veterans! - the words of conducting evening Helena Petrova and Irina Tveritneva have disturbed heart of everyone, who contributed all these years part of love in construction of favorite city.
On a holiday there was a set of the visitors. And otherwise it could not be. You see in our area live and work side by side the people of more than hundred nationalities. Each national Diaspora brings in the huge contribution to construction of new independent Kazakhstan, in development of a national economy, in common business of a unification and consent of the Kazakhstan people. And consequently together with us the representatives of 19 national-cultural centers shared this joyful event. From their lips were told many kind wishes. Besides came to congratulate us Chief Rabbi of Pavlodar and Pavlodar area - Shmuel Karnaukh, the deputy Akim of Pavlodar - Baurjan Kapenov, chairman of branch of a party Nur Otan - Vladimir Berkovsky, head of department of culture - Ayim Kanafina, deputy Akim of area - Rysty Jumabekova and many others. From their hands with the honourable letters were awarded the people of ourJewish Diaspora: Tatiana Slivinskaya, Yuri Reznikov, Hana Lobchenko, Irina Tveritneva, Vladimir Golbrakh, Alexander Sinelnikov, Gelena Jerebetskaya, Jacob Gelbstein, Vladimir Shneerov, Boris Kaminskiy and Benjamin Berkutsky. The role of the Jews who brought in the contribution to creation of Pavlodar Pryirtyshye was especially underlined. Conducting with pride and respect read all that have made for us our compatriots the Jews. Many people on this day got testimonial letters for the diligent work contributed to socio economic development of Pavlodar.
The holiday proceeded, to the visitors were offered Jewish fares. On the threshold of Jewish new year - Rosh-ha-Shana present were told about customs of this holiday. Everyone could dip apple in honey, that the next year was sweet and pleasant. Chief Rabbi of Pavlodar - Shmuel Karnaukh bided farewell and wished good luck for the next year.
All hard work on preparation and realization of this measure laid on shoulders of Hesed "Rachel" in person of Tatiana Slivinskaya and Irina Tveritneva, and JNCC "Merkaz" in person of Faina Svechinskaya.
The words of gratitude to regional and city Akimats, party Nur Otan, Assembly of the Nations of Kazakhstan for an opportunity of realization of similar holidays were told.
It is necessary to note, that all measure was accompanied by a wonderful concert of dancing and vocal collectives. In performance of vocal group "Anavim" sounded the songs " Tugan olke ", " Light the candle ", " Mazal Tov ", " Sha Shtil". Regina Gontmakher read a poem about Pavlodar in the Kazakh language. The vocal groups "Beyahad" , "Teybelakh" acted also and the choreographic collective "Mazal" pleased everybody with "man's" and "Kazakh" dances.
The evening finished with performance of song "Ine ma tov". And we say: "Ine ma tov!" How it is good and pleasant, for us to live, all together! To build our future, living hereby and not forgetting the past ".
