Great Patriotic war - is the largest our tragedy! Great Patriotic war - is the greatest our Victory! The life is rescued! With Day of a Victory! - with such words the holiday of May 7 in Shymkent began.

The Jewish community congratulated all those who with the weapon in hands defended Independence of our Motherland and those who selflessly worked in rear. The measure passed in a premise of the children's centre. The hall was festively decorated with the posters and pictures of children.

On the holiday came not only veterans of GPW, but also representatives of the Jewish community, which wanted to express the gratitude to the participants of war. In a hall the celebratory atmosphere reigned. On Victory Day congratulated everybody the chief of Community centre Bella Atran, having wished all present of longevity, health and the next year to come on a holiday in the same structure.

The veterans also came to congratulate the director of Hesed Slavik Brodsky, chairman of the cultural Jewish centre Eduard Atran and chairman of a religious community Zelik Murduhaev. The guys from the children's centre prepared verses about war. Nina Viktorova prepared the fascinating program, in which the fragments from poems about war of the poets of military years and our contemporaries sounded. The performances she finished with words of the poet - bard Alexander Rosenbaum "And may be there was no war..."

Yuri Kaminsky, the participant of GPW wrote verses, which read to us this day. The entire hall applauded him. Then the concert program began. The songs about war in performance of Irina Drobot sounded and accompanied Olga Skibina. For the entire present people in a hall these songs were familiar, and they echoed. At the end of a holiday - was celebratory table. All veterans got celebratory gifts.

Eternal memory to the lost! Eternal glory to alive!
